The Crocodile Hunter is the popular nature show on The Animal Planet featuring hosts Steve and Terri Irwin — who also run the Australia Zoo — as they search out wild animals that have wandered too close to civilization. Generally, Steve captures the animals, often putting his life in great danger. He's famous for being bitten, mauled, chewed, sliced, poisoned, impaled, mangled, and mocked by the animals he's saving. In his first movie, Steve rescues a crocodile that turns out to be a top-secret tool of the CIA, not realizing that the poachers trying to hunt it down are undercover agents.
